Autistic children and teenagers who have also experienced trauma are at increased risk for the development of mental health conditions, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (c-PTSD). In this workshop, we delve into why this is the case, the types of life experiences that can traumatise autistic people, and, importantly, how to heal from trauma as a child or teenager.
