Many neurodivergent children experience high levels of stress during their primary school years, which leads to behavioural and emotional dysregulation, disrupting their learning and relationships with their class teacher and students. Many of the issues can be resolved by creating an inclusive school culture, underpinned by a deep understanding of neurodiversity and the many challenges neurodivergent children face in school. Our course describes proactive, sustainable practices that support neurodivergent children and can be implemented immediately. Â
Our focus is on autism and ADHD. By creating neurodiversity inclusive and affirming classrooms, all students and teachers benefit.Â
