Many neurodivergent teenagers experience high levels of stress during their high school years, which leads to behavioural and emotional dysregulation, disrupting their learning and relationships with school staff and students. Many of the issues can be resolved by creating an inclusive school culture, which is underpinned by a deep understanding of neurodiversity and the many challenges neurodivergent teens face at high school. Our course teaches proactive sustainable practices that support neurodivergent teenagers and can be implemented immediately. Â
Our focus is autism and ADHD. By creating neurodiversity inclusive and affirming classrooms, all students and teachers benefit.Â
